According to information from Lao Dong reporter on October 18, after preparing full technical equipment and safety checks, around 8:45 a.m., the first train car was unloaded from the APL Pusan train and loaded onto the super long super bus. important.
According to Mr. Tuan, the specialized loading and unloading equipment to lift the shipment are metro rail cars that were previously shipped from France, and the loading and unloading workers were also instructed in advance so the loading and unloading took place smoothly.
Metro Nhon – Hanoi Station line includes 10 trains, of which the first train (line 3) has 4 80m long cars. The ship is made of aluminum alloy according to European standards, manufactured by a French contractor.
In appearance, the ship is green, pink red and white with the Khue Van Cac symbol. Each train can carry from 944 to 1,124 people, operating at a commercial speed of 35 km/h, design speed of 80 km/h.
The train has a low floor, making it easy for passengers to get on and off, especially those carrying luggage or traveling by wheelchair. Furthermore, on board there is also a priority area reserved for people with disabilities.
After arriving at Hai Phong port, the train will be transported by super-long, super-heavy vehicle to Nhon Depot area (Hanoi) for installation on the rails and test operation before official operation.
It is expected that the 8.5 km long section of urban railway No. 3 from Nhon to Hanoi Station will be commercially exploited in the second half of 2021, starting from Nhon to S8 station – University of Transport; The remaining 4km underground section is expected to be operational by the end of 2022.
After bringing the first train to the Depot, MRB will bring the train to the S1 elevated station to manage and display for people to visit in November 2020. It is expected that the second train will be brought to the project in January 2021 and the last train in June 2021.
